While growing up in the North German countryside, it was apparent that Louie V. Tone would develop into a passionate musician. Vic Lavender – Chicago

“Alma Cabaña” translated means “For the Love of Cuba.” The phrase is especially fitting for Vic Lavender’s bio – not only because elements of African and Latin culture have been a constant influence in his music, but because Cuba is the origin of his heritage.

As a DJ and producer, Vic has been a global music aficionado for over 20 years and continues to elevate the genre of house music by creating unique, Afro-Cuban rhythms and world beats representing the mosaic of the African Diaspora. His mastery of this “tribal sound” gives his music the ability to call to our ancestral spirit and permeate the soul of its listener.

Before confounding the internationally known production team / live band Mr. A.L.I. (African. Latin. Influences), he gained unprecedented notoriety as a member of house music keynote Glenn Underground’s “Strictly Jazz Unit”. While with SJU he recorded the world re known EP and house DJ favorite, “PM Blues.” Throughout his
career he has been credited with writing some of house music’s classic singles, including Sun’s “Father’s Little Girl” and “Med one’s Thoughts” from the Future Parables album. Another of his creations, “Wish”, was featured on The Nightlife Collective Vol. 1 compilation.

Currently Vic runs his own digital label “Sophisticado Recordings” which is responsible for some of the most innovative deep house recordings to come out in recent memory. David Prince of Spin Magazine gives Shannon Ialongo the title of “Funk Queen”, but the world of house music knows her as the infectious DJ Dayhota. Her trademark cutting-edge style combined with her high-energy tech-house filled DJ sets put DJ Dayhota into the upper echelon of the underground industry.

A veteran of the dance music community, DJ Dayhota is finally making her way into the studio. Dayhota and her writing partner, knows as RDA, have their first release remix of The Model’s “ I Won’t Be Hanging Out Anymore” ( RDA Tech Step RMX) project coming out on Playloop Records June 3rd, 2010. With four more projects in the pipeline be sure to keep an eye out for the tech funk this duo is bringing to the table.

Dayhota also finds herself entering the film world with just completing her music coordination job for the feature documentary “ Ghetto Physics” featuring the likes of KRS1 and her stint as Music Coordinator for the new Julia Roberts produced film “ Jesus Henry Christ”. The film world suits this artist just fine!

2006 marked the release of DJ Dayhota’s first mixed CD Catch Me on RE-INVENT MUSIC followed by Stomp This on STOMPY.COM. Catch Me is an aural journey of unique tracks and top-shelf mixing. In the summer of 2005 Dayhota collaborated with fellow SuperJaner Lady D to work on a remix for Showtime’s critically acclaimed series The “L” Word. Tommy Boy Records picked up the remix and released it on a L Word CD compilation.

A Chicago veteran of house-music, Dayhota has entertained at clubs worldwide: Centro-Fly and The Limelight in NYC, Motor in Detroit, Rain and Ice in Las Vegas, Sno-Drift and Ruby Sky in San Francisco and Level and Nikki Beach in South Beach (Miami). Her sound has graced the international speakers at top-flight venues like The Guvernment and The Docks in Toronto, Batofar in Paris, Zapata and The Lab in Germany, Macarena in Barcelona, Seven in Melbourne and The Underground Café in Sydney to name a few. She has also had the pleasure of gracing the decks at the infamous COACHELLA in 2007. In an industry dominated by male influence, Dayhota and fellow DJs Heather, Colette, and Lady D paved the way for future female DJs, shaping DJ culture by forming the all female DJ collective SuperJane. In 2000 SuperJane went on its first national tour and in 2002 its first international tour.

In 2002 Mixer Magazine nominated DJ Dayhota as one of the Top 100 DJs, while URB Magazine nominated her in 2004. DJ Ralph Falcon – Miami

Born in the Bronx New York and raised in Miami Florida, Ralph Falcon first jumped on the music scene in 1986 by co-writing and producing his first Billboard charting song I wanna know, at the age of 16. As an emerging house scene began to spread throughout the U.S. and Europe, NYC DJs Timmy Regisford, Merlin Bobb, Bobby Konders, Danny Tenaglia and Junior Vazquez became a considerable influence on molding Ralph’s sound. Signed by Atlantic records, Ralphs Mission Control “Outta Limits” became a Shelter NYC smash and was featured on Altantics UDM Underground Dance Music Album along side fellow artists Michael Watford and Rudoulpho. Ralph went on to release several underground staples on his D.S.R. record label before he and childhood friend Oscar Gaetan aka Oscar G founded Murk Records Miami and went on to release a string of underground hits, including original Sound Factory favorites Liberty City- Some Lovin, and Funky Green Dogs- Reach for me. On the heels of Falcons success with Murk records, the duo also launched their famed Masters at Murk party, featuring DJs Little Louie Vega and Kenny Dope Gonzales in 1993. Ralph Falcon also went onto tour throughout Europe and Asia playing venues like Hacienda Manchester, Pacha Ibiza, Zouk Singapore, Ministry of Sound London, Home Sydney, Yello Tokyo and @live Taipei. In 1994 Falcon went on to open his own label Miami Soul, which released another famous Sound Factory hit The Fog- “Been a long time”, and Ralph Falcon- Every now and then. Early in his career, Falcon, as one half of Murk, began to delve into the world of remixing as well by remixing songs for artists Pet Shop Boys, Erasure, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Royksopp, Mary J Blige, Seal, Moloko, Depeche Mode and many more. In 1996 Ralph Falcon wrote Funky Green Dogs Fired up, which quickly climbed to number one on Billboards dance chart and was featured on the UKs Top of the Pops. Along with longtime partner Oscar G, Ralph Falcon has gone on to write and produce a total of nine Billboard number ones and had five Billboard number ones on the dance chart in one year, a feat that had never been reached before, eclipsing Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson and Madonna for the title. In 2003 Oscar G and Ralph Falcon released Dark Beat, on Twisted Records which remained number one on Billboards dance chart for three weeks and won Dance Stars Best Producers, a first for Murk. Falcon has also gone on to win three ASCAP song writer awards throughout his career. Falcon’s latest hits include I Need Someone, Break You, and Whateva.

DJ Flyplender – Czech Republic

Rostislav Samec aka DJ Flyplender was born and raised in Tabor, Czech Republic. From an early age he devoted himself to music, even though not in electronic form, played piano. The turntables are first encountered at the turn in 1999/2000, after several years of attending parties and dance events. He started with the presentation of his mixes in local club, where as a resident organized a dance evenings. In 2004 was invited to the event for DJ talents in Ćeske Budejovice where he was chosen by resident and organizer Dj Efendy for a regular club night. Later on he took part in exhibitions VINYL CUP and often received offers of gigs around the Czech Republic. He became a resident of the club VERTIGO after moving to Prague and more often was invited by prestigious Prague clubs. Then started to cooperate with many Czech well-known promoters as a runner for world famous DJs like Marcel Woods, Christian Varela, Marco Bailey, Ortin Cam, Cave, Clodagh, Sub Focus, Pendulum, Mc Jakes and many more, while performed at main stages at great Czech summer open air festivals.

DJ NEO has become in his 24 years the best seller Czech-Slovak dj in abroad and he still is.

We are presenting just facts without “P.R. dressing” – the shorten career outline of the Prague native who has been since 1992 known as Dj Neo all around the world.

In 2002, as the first and the only one DJ of the Eastern bloc shocking with LP relase on the most famous American house label Subliminal records and even twice. Plate hit all major US / Euro dance charts. Famous world djs as David Morales or Erick Morillio put this record into their charts. The record was very well sold, and Subliminal after two months released out the second edition with other Neo mixes.
His first original album “Nobody faq with Jesus” called XMAG magazine (Czech dance magazine) as “the best Czech dance album ever”. DJ Neo remakes recordings for Monkey Business, J.A.R., Lucie Bílá, Jiří Korn, Dara Rolins, Wohnout and many others (they were still around 50). In mid-2002 issued by the magazine XMAG now legendary mixing compilation “House Party special mixed by DJ Neo. Neo is not fear or trying to change pop music – he produced and authorship on Jiří Korn‘s album Tep (2001), or the debut of singer Jana F. (song “Nostalgia” was long weeks the most playing song in the Czech radios) (2003). DJ NEO also worked at the 2nd album Samer Issa (Break the Silence, 2005), which produced together with Ondřej Brzobohatý. Neo also worked with Roman Holý on house track for soundtrack to the Czech film “Experts” (2006). It’s worth mentioning that Neo was nominated with album “Nobody faq with Jesus” in the prices of the Academy of Popular Music – The Angel in the category “Dance album of 2002″, nominated second album “Allboom” (this album comes from a well-known single “Bong song) as “Dance album of 2005″ in the prices of music TV Ocko, or 2 best single of 2002, for “Still in love with U (Subliminal), according to magazine readers XMAG. In 2005, receives an offer for his own radio show” DJ Neo in the mix “to the cult Expresradio.

In February of 2007, release his third solo alblum with critics and fans well received background “Heartbreak club (reviews: Techno 9.5 / 10, Report 6 / 7, Music 4 / 5), which are surrounded himself with the best czech vocalists (Martina Balogová, Dara Rolins, Orion, Sámer Issa, Komár, James Cole, Victoria, Ondra Brzobohatý and others). Singles from this album are distributed in 2007 throughout Europe and the United States (Housechild as maxisingl for Diamond records and Epic Love on official sampler for the world dj meeting Miami music conference. Housechild Epic and love have been deployed in the Czech Republic as singles in music charts for long weeks (In Express radio waves were both singles more than 8 weeks number 1). Track “When I’m with her” was selected to the national finals Eurovize. Autumn 2007 – Neo is involved as the main remier of the remix album leading Czech and Slovak diva Dara Rolins (Dara’s album released in Spring 2008 for Sony Music).

In 2008, DJ NEO‘s Epic love song is nominated for the Czech Republic in international competition on the European dance track in “Eurodance”. Zeroth single from the forthcoming album Victory “Groove with You“ with the singer Soraya from Ministry of sound was remixed by Riff and Rays (Masters at Work, Kylie Minogue, Madonna, etc.) Fall 2008: DJ NEO was selected as one of the 4 residents of the most popular dance radio station Europe 2 – Dance EXXtravaganza (among others such as DJ Tiesto).

From the end of 2008 to the beginning of 2009, DJ NEO VICTORY released a new album and shooting videos with the most famous house vocalist Jocelyn Brown. Pilot single Better life abroad is choosed by the one of the largest Europe labels in the field of dance music-Vendetta records, among Nea gives stars like Axwell, Bob Sinclair, Sebastien Leger or megahit with Gadjo “So many times”. The list of major names, which the new album Victory host, however, does not end with Jocelyn. So: Jocelyn Brown (Incognito, Michael Jackson, Beatles, D. Marcello Totti was born in February 2,1977 in Liberec in the Czech Republic. He inhereted his love for the music after his father,who belongs among the best Czech pianists. Therefore it was as well the main reason, why M.T. entered the ZSLU (The music school) in 1983. He begun to play piano and sing in the worlwide known choir Severacek. He started to compose his own music during this eight years at ZSLU. He composed his first song in the age of 10. It was song for his first school love. His style was influenced a lot by his father and father s Jazz band. He was really interested in music styles like RAP,R&B and Hip Hop. There was the inspiration to create his own rap project called C.M.B.(Cash Money Brothers) in 1991. C.M.B. was the first and the only groupe to come to tour with ,in that time really famous band, RAPMASTERS. The members of Rapmasters noticed his great talent and asked him to colaborate on their new CD Tri na tri, where his first track was shown. There was another CD released in the same year, single “13 hodin na stanici Hvezda”.

M.T. and former singer of Rapmasters founded new project Babylon in 2000. He composed the music for the internacional commercials for Mercedes Benz,Honda Aprilia a Audi DSR in the same year. He also worked with Dara Rolinc, A.Zika and Zipofilm.He has begun his DJ kariera in 2002. He went to live in Mexico the next year and he started to spin in the small clubs in Mexico City. After winnig the competition, he was the first Czech DJ in history, who signed the exclusive contract with Dj Prime Agency. and the magazine Dj Concept . He is resident Dj of the club Mansión and Liverpool 100 in Mexico City and the world famose club Palladium in Acapulco. He is playing in the clubs all over the Mexico and south America.He is exclusive Dj of butiques Armani Exchange as well .He was nominated in Dj and Clubbing Awards of latin America in the category “the new talent of the year” in 2006
